prepares, organises and conducts the sessions of government committees;
provides opinions, responses and other materials on the basis of which the Government formulates its positions on the proposals and requests of unauthorised proposers or assigns cases to competent bodies for further consideration – except for the material of the National Assembly and material concerning international cooperation;
coordinates work between the competent ministries and government services concerning materials submitted by the competent bodies for consideration, and rejects materials in accordance with the Secretary-General’s powers;
examines government materials and determines if they are harmonised with the Government’s Rules of Procedure and coordinated with the competent bodies;
prepares reports and minutes with respect to the meetings of government committees;
prepares the Government’s adopted decisions arising from final debate in committees;
tracks the implementation of positions adopted by government committees and government resolutions arising from final debate in committees;
directly tracks the sessions of the National Assembly;
prepares verbatim records of government sessions;
performs administrative and technical tasks associated with its work.
