With respect to cooperation between the Government and the National Assembly, and the Government’s activities in the European Union and its international affairs, the Division:

• tracks the work of the National Assembly and its working bodies, and cooperates with expert services of the National Assembly;
• tracks the European and international activities of the Government;
• provides opinions and other materials on the basis of which the Government formulates its positions or assigns cases to competent bodies for consideration;
• examines government materials and determines if they are harmonised with the Rules of Procedure of the Government and those of the National Assembly;
• prepares government resolutions and adopted decisions concerning the working area of the Division;
• tracks the implementation of government resolutions concerning the working area of the Division;
• directly organises the tracking of sessions of the National Assembly, arranges participation of government representatives and civil servants from the Secretariat-General at the sessions of the National Assembly, and prepares relevant materials for their work and briefings for their heads and the services of the Secretariat-General;
• keeps records and retrieves data from these records;
• performs administrative and technical tasks associated with its work.
