IT DIVISION

  

The Division shall perform the following tasks:  

  • manage the system for tracking the sessions of the Government and its working bodies;
  • manage Government information systems falling within the competence of the Secretariat-General of the Government;
  • prepare complex analyses and development projects, information and reports in the field of information technology;
  • collect, manage and process data for drafting complex materials in the field of information technology;
  • take part in introducing a quality system;
  • perform expert supervision and prepare technical documentation for public tenders in the working area of the Division;
  • coordinate the purchasing and maintenance of computer equipment for the Secretariat-General of the Government and the Office of the Prime Minister;
  • provide technical support and operate the information system of the Secretariat-General of the Government and of the Office of the Prime Minister;
  • provide the operation, administration and supervision of the server and communications infrastructure;
  • support user workstations,
  • supervise and coordinate the work of external service providers in maintaining hardware and software;
  • provide technical support for Government e-sessions;
  • provide guidelines and standards for the hardware and software used in Government e-sessions;
  • coordinate IT specialists of the ministries in supporting Government e-sessions;
  • develop, maintain and introduce the software of the Secretariat-General of the Government and the Office of the Prime Minister;
  • provide training to users and assist them in working with application software;
  • regulate access to the document databases of the Secretariat-General of the Government and the Office of the Prime Minister and other databases;
  • regulate access to the Government information systems managed by the Secretariat-General of the Government for the ministries and government services.
